CTOnews.com, August 22 (Xinhua)-- BYD officially announced that it will showcase six electric cars and new technologies at the IAA 2023 Munich International Auto Show, and show its luxury sub-brand momentum cars to the European audience for the first time, focusing on the momentum D9.

CTOnews.com learned from a press release that BYD will launch the Seal U (domestic PLUS champion version) for the first time in Europe, with two versions of the new car: the Comfort (comfort) version and the Design (Design) version. The comfortable version has a built-in 71.8kW blade battery, the WLTP has a range of 420km, and the design version has a built-in 87kWh battery, the WLTP has a range of 500km.

Meanwhile, the Seal EV is expected to go on sale in parallel with the Seal U this fall, and these models will join the Dolphin (Dolphin), Tang (Tang) and ATTO 3 (Yuan PLUS) currently sold in the European Union. By the end of this year, BYD will have a total of six models.
