Microsoft optimizes the Office add-on interface to facilitate user management, add and delete add-ons
CTOnews.com August 25, Microsoft Office add-in team project manager Skylar Pan posted a blog post inviting Microsoft 365 users to test the new add-on functionality on the web side and desktop side of Word,Excel and PowerPoint.
The Office add-in acts as a browser extension, adding additional functional extensions to applications such as Word,Excel and PowerPoint. Microsoft officials say most Office add-ons are developed by third-party developers and users can access Microsoft Office Store, download and install these add-ons.
Microsoft said that this update focuses on upgrading the Office add-in page, where users can browse and add add-ons on the Home page.
After the user clicks on the add-on pop-up window, the currently installed add-ons will be listed at the bottom of the pop-up window. In addition, some popular add-ons will be recommended. Users can directly click the "Add" button on the right to add.
In addition, users can also open File > get add-ons, and you will see similar pages that make it easy for users to manage, add, and delete these add-ons.
