Hunan built the country's first flying car running scene across the river, Xiaopeng Huitian Voyager X2 made its first flight successfully

The flying car took off from the other side of the river and landed in the three pavilions and one hall in Zhutou Square. The distance between the two places was 1.5 kilometers, and the whole journey took 4 minutes.

At the same time, this is also the country's first flying car running scene across the river, and a contract signing ceremony was held to explore the application scene. Xiaopeng Huitian, Changsha Institute of Aviation Industry, Hunan Navigation Company, Xiangjiang Navigation, Hunan Yongtong Group and Jingwei Aviation Co., Ltd. also jointly signed the "Changsha low-altitude Flying vehicle Application scene Exploration Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement".

Before the cross-river flight, the flying car claimed to have conducted nearly 4000 test flights, and this year carried out flight tests of urban CBD, sea areas, deserts, scenic spots and other application scenarios.

Zhao Deli, founder and president of Xiaopeng Huitian, said that based on the research and development results and scene exploration experience of Voyager X2, Huitian is making every effort to develop the next generation of amphibious flying cars, with plans for mass production in 2025. In addition, Xiaopeng Huitian independently developed five generations of intelligent electric vertical take-off and landing manned flying vehicles, flying more than 15000 sorties.

Xiaopeng Huitian official said that the Voyager X2 is a two-person intelligent electric flying vehicle independently developed and manufactured by the company. The whole fuselage is made of carbon fiber material and has a water droplet shape and good aerodynamic performance.

CTOnews.com previously reported that on January 30 this year, Xiaopeng Huitian Voyager X2 had obtained a chartered flight license issued by the Central and South Regional Administration of Civil Aviation of China, and Voyager X2 became the first manned eVTOL (Electric Vertical take-off and Landing) product in China to be successfully approved.
