CTOnews.com, August 27, Tesla has officially launched Britain's first V4 supercharging station at Tottenham Service Centre in Tottenham, UK, which is also the seventh V4 supercharging station network in Europe.

The most interesting thing about this site is that it adds a card payment method (using a contactless bank card reader). Even a non-Tesla electric car can be recharged through a CCS charging connector to charge a non-Tesla electric car, which costs £0.50 a minute. (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 4.59 yuan).

According to the test (Kia Electric vehicle), Tesla will charge users a certain fee first and return the price difference after charging.

In other words, non-Tesla owners can recharge even without Tesla applications. In other words, there are now three ways:

Tesla electric vehicle: just connect to the super charging station directly.

Non-Tesla electric vehicles:

-Tesla application (scan QR code)

-Card payment (V4 gear)

As of the first half of 2023, the Tesla supercharging network includes 5262 charging stations and 48082 charging posts / interfaces, with an average of 9.1 charging posts / interfaces per site.

It is worth mentioning that the Tesla V4 supercharging station currently exists only in Europe. Currently known and publicly available V4 supercharging stations include:

Austria: 1

France: 3

Germany: 1

Netherlands: 1

UK: 1

Total (known): 7

Under construction: 1 in Norway, 1 in Spain
