Derivative game parking makes way, CDPR "Wizard 4" has entered the development stage.

CTOnews.com, August 28 (Xinhua)-- the fourth work of CDPR's signature game "Wizards" series is now in the development stage, and derivative games will make way, according to the latest announcement by R. Talsorian Games, the developer of the wizard TTRPG board game.

As CD Projekt Red begins to develop the fourth wizard game, we have been working together to ensure that the information between the two products remains as connected as possible, according to the official website of R. Talsorian Games. We held countless meetings and spent several days discussing the direction of the "wizard TTRPG" and "wizard" series. We have come to realize that it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to continue the work of the Wizards TTRPG series while still keeping in touch with CD Projekt Red's upcoming program. Therefore, in order to ensure that everyone can get the best product as consistent as possible, we will suspend the development of the wizard series until future plans are more reliable. "

As CTOnews.com previously reported, on March 22, 2022, CDPR officially announced that a new wizard game is under development, using Unreal engine 5 and working with Epic Game developers. This will be the first installment of the new Wizards trilogy, codenamed Polaris.
