From August 25 to 26, 2023, sponsored by the World Clean Energy equipment Congress, the final defense and award ceremony of the Sanxingdui Cup Clean Energy equipment Intelligent Green Innovation Competition jointly organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications and the Industrial Internet Industry Alliance and other units ended in Deyang, Sichuan Province. The competition was launched in July, and through the selection of the preliminary and semi-finals, 30 teams stood out from more than 2800 registered teams to gather the finals.

During the final held on August 25, Chen Jingfeng, member of the standing Committee of the Deyang Municipal CPC Committee and vice mayor, pointed out in his speech that as a major equipment supplier to countries along the "Belt and Road Initiative" route, Deyang has products in 161 countries and regions, and its output of power generation equipment ranks first in the world. It has won the title of "International demonstration City of Clean Technology and New Energy equipment Manufacturing Industry" awarded by the United Nations. The successful holding of this competition will work with all sectors of the industry to polish Deyang's reputation as "the source of ancient Shu civilization and the capital of equipment and wisdom". On behalf of the expert Committee, Wang Weimin, deputy director of the Competition expert Committee, former assistant to the general manager of Dongfang Electric Group, and vice president of the joint-stock company, also affirmed the innovation and exploration of the competition, and encouraged the contestants to further strengthen the practice and promotion of the results of the competition. to make greater contributions to the digital transformation of clean energy equipment.

The final team competed through a combination of roadshow and defense, and the final rankings were announced on three tracks, namely, the hydrogen fuel Cell Digital Twin performance Simulation algorithm Competition, the Clean Energy equipment Intelligent Optimization Challenge and the New Energy Storage and Energy Internet Challenge.

The award ceremony was held on the evening of August 26 at the Night of Entrepreneur Glory. Su Bo, vice chairman of the Economic Committee of the 13th CPPCC National Committee and former vice minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ye Qiguan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Yu Xiaohui, president of the China Academy of Information and Communications, presented prizes to the first prize winners. Lu Tingyan, party member and deputy general manager of China Yangtze River three Gorges Group Co., Ltd., and president of China Patent Protection Association, and Zhang Yanjun, party member and deputy general manager of China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd., presented awards to the second prize winners. Jing Xiaobo, executive vice chairman of China heavy Machinery Industry Association, Shen Jiang, vice president of China Electrical Appliance Industry Association, and Jiang Baihua, member of the National Intelligent Manufacturing expert Committee, presented awards to the third prize winners.
