CTOnews.com August 31, Sony announced plans to increase the price of PlayStation Plus subscriptions from next month.

From September 6, the price of the service's 12-month subscription plan at Essential, Extra and Premium levels will go up, but you can still enjoy a discount compared to an one-month or three-month purchase. The adjusted price is as follows:

First file: PlayStation Plus Essential 12-month subscription $79.99 | 71, 999 euros | 59.99 pounds | 6800 yen (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 339 yuan)

Second: PlayStation Plus Extra 12-month subscription of $134.99 | 125, 599 euros | 99.99 pounds | 11700 yen (currently about RMB584)

Third: PlayStation Plus Premium 12-month subscription of $159.99 | 151, 999 euros | 119.99 pounds | 13900 yen (currently about RMB694)

For current 12-month PS + subscribers, this price adjustment will not take effect until the next renewal date on or after November 6.

Adam Michel, director of content procurement and operations at Sony SIE, said: "this price adjustment will enable us to continue to bring high-quality games and more revenue to your PlayStation Plus subscription service."

In addition, Sony announced that monthly games for September PlayStation Plus will include "Mafia Saints" (PS4, PS5), "Black Desert Voyager" (PS5) and "Generation Zero", which will be available to PlayStation Plus members from September 5 to October 2.
