CTOnews.com, August 31, Fairphone today officially released the Fairphone 5 smartphone, which it claims to be the most sustainable smartphone to date.

The front of the Fairphone 5 body features a 6.46in Full HD+ Dynamic 90Hz OLED screen and a Pixelworks processor for enhanced images and adaptive colors.

The top of the fuselage is centered with a 5000-megapixel front camera, while the back of the fuselage is also equipped with a 5000-megapixel camera and a 5000-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

Officials say 70% of the materials used in the phone, including gold, lithium and tungsten, are recycled through reliable channels; officials say the phone is 100% e-waste neutral (e-waste neutral), ensuring that the same amount of e-waste is collected and recycled for each phone produced.

The phone uses an eight-core Qualcomm QCM6490 processor to provide security support for up to eight years; it runs Android 13 and does not have any pre-installed applications, and it is confirmed that at least five Android versions will be updated by 2031.

Another highlight of the phone is modularity. Officials say it provides more replaceable parts than the previous generation, making it easier for users to repair and replace them.
