Linux distribution Debian announces abandoning its 32-bit MIPS Little Endian "mipsel" port

CTOnews.com Sept. 4 news that Debian is removing mipsel ports from Debian unstable / experimental, but MIPS64EL 64-bit small-end variants will continue to be maintained.

So after the release of Debian 12, developers eventually abandoned their 32-bit MIPS Little Endian "mipsel" port to balance their own resources and "technical limitations".
