Sources say Nintendo is developing an independent VR device, and Google is involved in related research and development.
CTOnews.com Sept. 5, Nash Weedle, the whistleblower who broke the news about Mitrod: fear of Survival, recently posted on platform X that Nintendo is developing a new stand-alone VR device.
According to a post from ▲ source Nash Weedle, Google was involved in the development of the VR product, the hardware will be independent of the rumored Nintendo next-generation mainframe and will be equipped with a MicroLED screen, the VR product will be designed for "multi-family use" and will provide a "mixed reality experience" that combines virtual elements with the user's physical environment.
The post posted by ▲ source Nash Weedle also found out that Nintendo applied for a patent on VR in November 2022, which allows two players to interact in 3D space captured by VR device units, which also caused many fans to speculate at the time whether the new Switch model would "produce some kind of virtual reality interaction."
