CTOnews.com, Sept. 6 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft today denied rumors that its game developer Mojang will release an original version of "my World" for Xbox Series X | S, which means that the picture of "my World" on Xbox Series X | S will continue to be in the style of Xbox 360s without any significant improvement.

There were earlier reports that the Entertainment Software rating Commission (ESRB) had rerated my World, raising expectations for the original version of Xbox Series X | S. However, Microsoft told Eurogamer that this is only because my World needs to update its ratings regularly in different regions and platforms, regardless of any new version or platform support.

CTOnews.com noted that Microsoft announced in 2017 that my World would launch Super Picture quality Pack (Super Duper Graphics Pack), promising upgraded 4K visual effects for modern Xbox hosts, including shaders and new light reflection textures. However, the project was cancelled after a long silence. In addition, my World "accidentally" released a RayTracing update for Xbox Series X | S, but it was later withdrawn, calling it an error.
