Dediu said that 10 years ago, he looked at the revenue of iOS and Android app developers and found that Android users are twice as many as iPhone users, but iPhone app store developers earn twice as much as Google Play Store.

Dediu then put forward his own view that iPhone users are worth four times as much as Android users, and half of them pay four times as much.

Apple claims 650 million active App Store users, while Google claims 2.5 billion. This brings the global ratio to nearly four times Android.

So iPhone users are worth 7.4 times more than Android users.
