CTOnews.com Sept. 9, developer Mishaal Rahman dug deep into Android TV 14 Beta code, hinted that Google is about to launch a new Chromecast with Google TV device, and found the relevant remote control schematic.

Google announced in September 2020 that the Chromecast with Google TV is a TV stick device. After connecting it to the TV, users can play high-definition or 4K resolution video content through the remote control.

The Chromecast with Google TV HD version costs 34.99 pounds (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 321 yuan) and the 4K version costs 59.99 pounds (currently about 550 yuan).

In the diagram found in the new version of the code, there are four round buttons on the left, two round buttons up and down on the right, with an oval button in the middle, and a new star button on the lower right of the remote control.

About this star button, Google officially named it "Magic Button", is a programmable button, users can set to open a specific program, or view and switch device information sources, and so on.
