According to reports, Godson 2P0500 is a master control SoC chip suitable for single / multi-function printers, and it is the core control component of the printing / scanning machine. The chip is mainly used for print data receiving, analysis and processing, print engine control, scanning timing control, scanning data, image processing and motor control.

The chip adopts heterogeneous core structure, with one Godson LA364, two Loongson LA132 processor cores and 512KB shared second-level cache. It integrates DDR3, GMAC, OTG, USB, print interface, scanning interface, image unit, PMIO, AD / DA, eMMC, SDIO, SPI, PWM and other functional modules, and implements power management and control modules. A single chip can meet the needs of many typical applications such as printing, scanning, copying and so on.

Godson Zhongke said that the test results show that the function of Godson 2P0500 is normal, its performance meets expectations, and its power consumption and reliability meet the requirements. At the same time, Godson is actively working with a number of mainstream printer manufacturers in China to complete printing, scanning, copying and other applications. Some prototypes are being tested by relevant manufacturers and are planned for small batch trial production in the near future.

In addition, Godson will complete the production of Godson 2P0500 by the end of 2023, and will continue to work in the field of printer chips, through serialization, matching and other measures to continue to improve its cost performance and market competitiveness.
