ProGrade launches the world's first CFexpress 4.0USB4 Type-B card reader with speeds up to 5GB/s

CTOnews.com Sept. 11, ProGrade has launched a new PG05.6 card reader designed for the latest CFexpress 4.0 (PCIe Gen 4) B memory card. It is also the world's first CFexpress 4.0 USB4 Type-B card reader with one slot and backward compatibility with CFexpress 2.0 at speeds up to 5GB per second.

ProGrade's founder and CEO Wes Brewer says the PG05.6 card reader has taken a huge leap forward in terms of workflow and performance. At the same time, ProGrade spent more than a year perfecting the reader to provide additional cooling capacity for the reader body and memory cards.
