CTOnews.com Sept. 11, the latest information shows that Samsung Galaxy S24 series flagship phones will have not only one or two battery suppliers, but three.

This is known through a series of lists from South Korean regulators, at least Samsung will adopt this three-pronged battery supplier strategy for Galaxy S24 +, and the standard and Ultra versions are likely to do the same.

The three suppliers are Samsung SDI Vietnam, China's Ningde New Energy and ELENTEC India. At least for the Galaxy S24 +, the three companies will provide the same battery, model EB-BS926ABY.

The EB-BS926ABY model was unveiled on South Korea's security agency SafetyKorea in August, and the standard Galaxy S24 battery model is EB-BS992ABY, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra battery model is EB-BS928ABY.

Only one supplier of Galaxy S24 series batteries (Ningde Times) was confirmed in August and now shows at least three.

It is rumored that there may be the biggest change in the Ultra version of the three upcoming flagship phones, which may have a straight screen design, and there are reports that the device will use a titanium frame.

Standard and Plus versions of Galaxy S24 may also have straighter borders, similar to the latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 flagship phones. In addition to these design upgrades, the upcoming flagship phone is expected to carry another Qualcomm Snapdragon chip dedicated to "Galaxy" for use in markets that do not use Exynos 2400 SoC. It is reported that the Exynos chip will return to Samsung's flagship series with the release of the Galaxy S24 series, which has a 10-core CPU and a GPU twice as powerful as the Exynos 2200 GPU.
