China National Space Administration: Super 1.5TB remote sensing satellite data have been shared with foreign parties

China's Gaofen 6 satellite, Resource 3 02 satellite and Sanya ground station joined the BRICS remote sensing satellite constellation cooperation and provided Chinese remote sensing satellite metadata and sample data.

Recently, the head of China's National Space Administration revealed that China has shared super-1.5TB remote sensing satellite data with foreign parties, according to the Science and Technology Daily.

According to Xinhua News Agency, during the 15th BRICS leaders' meeting from August 22 to 24, China proposed to rely on the BRICS remote sensing satellite constellation cooperation mechanism to explore the establishment of a "BRICS global remote sensing satellite data and application cooperation platform" to provide data support for the development of agriculture, ecology, disaster reduction and other fields.
