CTOnews.com Sept. 14, Sony today announced the release of version 1.10 of the Camera Remote SDK application, which can be remotely controlled by a computer.

The update feature is compatible with the just released full-frame microcameras ILCE-7CM2 and ILCE-7CR and allows third parties to use Sony cameras to develop custom applications.

Camera Remote SDK Ver. Version 1.10 is now available for free download, Ver. 1.11 will be available for free download in November, bringing more new features for inspection, drones, e-commerce and video shooting.

Sony said that with this update, the compatible model of the Camera Remote SDK has been added again: Ver. 1.10 supports ILCE-7CR and ILCE-7CM2,Ver. Version 1.11 will support ILX-LR1.
