Apple refurbished 2023 Mac Pro models on overseas shelves: equipped with M2 Ultra chip, 16% lower than the new model

CTOnews.com, September 20 (Xinhua)-- Apple's M2 Ultra Mac Pro is now available in US refurbishment stores, the first time it has been offered at a discount since its launch.

The basic Mac Pro refurbished model with M2 Ultra costs $5949 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 43368 yuan), which is about $1050 lower than the new model ($6999), with a discount of about 16%.

In addition, Apple has a variety of 2023 refurbished Mac Pro configurations to choose from. Here's a brief inventory of CTOnews.com:

24-core CPU, 60-core GPU, 64GB unified memory, 1TB solid-state disk: $5949 (currently about 43368 yuan)

24-core CPU, 76-core GPU, 64GB unified memory, 1TB solid-state disk: $6799 (currently about 49565 yuan)

24-core CPU, 76-core GPU, 128GB unified memory, 4TB solid-state disk: $8329 (currently about 60718 yuan)

24-core CPU, 76-core GPU, 192GB unified memory, 2TB solid-state disk: $8499 (currently about 61958 yuan)

The Mac Pro model with M2 Ultra chip was launched in June 2023. The desktop has the same design as the Intel processor-based model launched in 2019, but because of the unified architecture of Apple Silicon, it does not support graphics cards, and users cannot upgrade memory. Apple recommends that customers who do not need PCIe extensions should consider buying Mac Studio.

The refurbished Mac Pro is similar to the new model, with a power cord, a mouse and a smart keyboard with Touch ID.

All of Apple's refurbished Mac are almost identical to the new products and have been fully tested and thoroughly cleaned and inspected. In addition, Apple's refurbished models also enjoy an one-year limited warranty and a 14-day return policy from Apple, and they can also buy a separate AppleCare.
