Reason for recall: Due to software problem of on-board automatic diagnostic system (OBD), when fuel tank leakage diagnosis pump and valve fail, OBD alarm lamp cannot be lit as expected. If fuel tank evaporation system of vehicle leaks at this time, OBD alarm lamp cannot be lit as expected, resulting in emission hazard.

BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. said it would upgrade OBD software for vehicles in the recall range free of charge to eliminate emission hazards. The company will notify relevant users in the form of registered letters, connected driving messages, etc.
