From January to August this year, the domestic portable display online open retail market (excluding Douyin, Kuaishou and other content e-commerce) monitored sales of 202000 units.

ARZOPA, EIMIO and sculptors ranked in the top three in monthly sales, with a total market share of 60.5 per cent, while high-end Asustek's ROG and FOPO ranked eighth and 10th respectively.

Traditional display manufacturers such as AOC and KTC have also begun to lay out portable display products, but the sales data are not bright, mainly due to the single function and high pricing of the products.

In terms of price, products of less than 1,000 yuan dominated the market in the first eight months of this year, with a share of 79%.

In terms of size, 14-16 inches is the first size segment of the portable display market, with a cumulative share of 66%. Due to the enterprise side demand and more practical (such as multi-window operation, resolution) factors, portable display shows a moderately large screen development trend.

In terms of refresh rate, 60Hz is still the mainstream refresh rate in the market, but due to the increasing penetration of e-sports, the share of 144Hz also began to rise.

In terms of annual forecasts, the online retail market for portable displays in China is expected to reach 321000 units this year, an increase of 62 per cent over the same period last year.
