CTOnews.com attaches a screenshot of the test as follows, using Jartul JT 6322A (1200 W / 150 V / 240 A) DC electronic unit to load the 12V-2×6 cable, even if it is not inserted correctly, it is found that the reading of the interface in voltage, current and power is basically unchanged, and it can withstand a load of nearly 645W.

The new CEM 5.1 specification replaces the existing 12 V HPWR interface with a new 12V-2×6 interface, and as a base specification, PCI SIG directly defines its common form factor, maximum and continuous power parameters, so it is less confusing.

12V-2×6 port not inserted correctly

Properly plugged into the 12V-2×6 port, this connector supports 675W graphics (connector 600W+PCIe power), while the motherboard PCIe slot (PEG) still has a maximum of 75W power. For comparison, the previous CEM 5.0 had a maximum power of 600W.
