CTOnews.com, September 26 (Xinhua)-- the seventh season of sci-fi blockbuster Rick and Morty will premiere at 23:00 EDT (11:00 October 16, Beijing time), the first time the leading actor in the animation has been changed.

Early this morning, the first official trailer for the seventh season of Rick and Morty was released, which was the first public release of a new dubbing. (CTOnews.com Note: the previous trailer was a mixed cut of season 6).

As can be seen from the video, the dubbing of the grandparents in the seventh season is basically the same as the original, which will not make people feel very inconsistent. IGN has confirmed that Rick and Morty will not officially release the names of its dubbing actors before this season's premiere.

According to CTOnews.com, the show's co-creator Justin Roiland was charged with domestic violence earlier this year. Although the charges were dropped due to lack of evidence, they still failed to return to the seventh season of Rick and Morty.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times in August, producer Steve Levy said the seventh season might be "better" after Justin Roiland left.
