Microsoft Teams software is updated and released in September to enable participants to watch the video recorded from the meeting online.

After the network meeting recording video on demand the organizer can release the video recording and automatically send an email to the attendees with a link to watch the on-demand video.

The published video will be hosted on the online event page, or the administrator can be set to publish only recordings.

Teams Phone shared calls allow administrators to have user groups make and receive PSTN calls using shared phone numbers and call plans. It allows administrators to make and receive calls using shared phone packages and to create up to 1000 channels for each team, so that organizations can create almost unlimited number of meeting group channels for sub-projects and ad hoc projects. The Teams Phone mobile version is now available in Denmark and the UK.

Video clip message enhancements users can already record and send video clip messages in one-on-one and group chats. Now, users can also blur the background, record screens, and record audio-only clips.

In the mobile version, users can now choose whether or not to keep or delete their iOS call and meeting history details in their Teams device's call history. Users can set preferences in the call settings of Teams Mobile App.

Automatic installation of approved applications uses smart signals from users to install and display applications that the administrator has allowed tenants to use. Administrators can enable it to help users naturally discover and use applications that are highly relevant to the requirements in Microsoft Teams.

Finally, Microsoft said it would start using Teams services as a separate product in addition to Microsoft 365 in the European Economic area and Switzerland. This is Microsoft's attempt to avoid EU antitrust fines.
