A few months ago, the company stopped supporting the installation of Samsung notes on non-Samsung notebooks, but some users bypassed these restrictions. Now, however, things have changed.

The South Korean company is trying to create an ecosystem with some features that apply only to Samsung hardware. For example, features such as Auto Switch and Fast Pair on Galaxy Buds are only available for Galaxy phones, tablets and televisions.

No stranger to Samsung's notes, the app was launched with Galaxy Note smartphones and then expanded to tablets with S Pen. So far, all Samsung phones and tablets have begun to support Samsung note-taking apps, allowing users to synchronize data.

As the limitation of this feature increases, it means that users are no longer allowed to synchronize non-Samsung notebooks or PC versions after adding Samsung notes to their Galaxy phones.
