Apple's original Apple Pencil is expected to replace the USB-C interface, iOS 17.1 Beta version of the code exposure related devices
CTOnews.com, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) according to tech blogger Steve Moser, Apple quietly mentioned Apple Pencil's USB-C charging function in iOS 17.1 Beta 2. The related text includes "Please connect USB-C to charge" and "Apple Pencil battery is very low". Steve Moser calls the series model "Apple Pencil 3", but Apple is more likely to replace the USB-C port for the original Apple Pencil.

Considering that the second-generation Apple Pencil is charged wirelessly, Apple is unlikely to add a USB-C interface to the second-generation or subsequent new Apple Pencil, so Apple is more likely to replace the USB-C interface for the original Apple Pencil, thus creating differentiation.
However, regardless of whether the original Apple Pencil is changed to USB-C,CTOnews.com or not, another "third-generation" Apple Pencil version is in the pipeline, and the "third-generation" Apple Pencil will be equipped with different shapes of magnetic tips for different purposes such as painting, sketching and oil painting.
