About two weeks ago, Tesla began recruiting for battery recycling operator and battery recycling operator (night shift) positions. The job description indicates that the staff will participate in the operation of the battery recycling pilot plant.

A battery recycling operator in Gigafactory 1 is responsible for the equipment operation and overall production of the battery recycling pilot plant. Operators are also responsible for ensuring that all battery recycling equipment operates at maximum efficiency in accordance with specific safety guidelines.

As a Tesla Gigafactory 1 battery recycling operator, you will have the opportunity to push Tesla to achieve a closed loop of battery recycling. Battery recycling operators will work closely with engineers to continuously develop and improve battery recycling systems.
