Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens, SoftMedia New Friends 2010825, South China Daniel Wu, Ginkefen and my Love 317 for their clue delivery! CTOnews.com October 11, Microsoft today released a KB5031463 update for Win11 to Beta Channel's Windows Insider project members. After the update, the version number has been upgraded to Build 22635.2419.

Microsoft said that since the Build 22635.2419 version, Beta channels will no longer be segmented, and all users in the channel will use the same version number.

Microsoft has enabled new features through Controlled Feature Rollout (CFR) since Build 22635.2419, with the version number increasing with weekly updates.

CTOnews.com note: if users want to get new features, they can enable the option "install now when an update is detected" in the Win11 settings application and get the update as soon as possible. If users choose to turn it off, Microsoft will gradually push it to the device after the new feature has passed the test.

Microsoft said that in the future, it will promote Beta channel version updates based on new features, improvements and fixes, and will take the lead in pushing to users who enable the "detect available updates and install now" option, and then gradually roll it out.
