Thank CTOnews.com netizens soft media Xinyou 1933769 for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, October 11, according to the latest news from Asustek, Asustek is introducing firmware updates for its X670E and B650E motherboards, making it possible for DDR5 memory to overclock to 8000 + MHz.

The following table lists the firmware models that support DDR5-8000 (OC) memory on the Asustek AM5 motherboard.

When the AMD sharp dragon 7000 series CPU was just launched, the DDR5-6000 memory was the best choice for this series of processors. Now, with the decline in the price of high-frequency DDR5 memory, AMD and motherboard manufacturers have introduced new firmware, bringing the support of high-frequency memory.

Not long ago, MSI also announced that its AM5 motherboard supports higher frequency memory, two flagship models X670E Ares and Supergod support the highest DDR5-8000 memory sticks on the market, B650E can support up to DDR5-7800, and the entry-level A620 can also support DDR5-6800.

IT House noticed that the 16G*2 price of Yingchi HOF Pro DDR5-8000 high-frequency memory was 4499 yuan when it was launched in February this year, but now it has dropped to about 3000 yuan. DDR5-7800, 7600, 7200 and other high-frequency memory prices are also lower.
