CTOnews.com, Oct. 12, Adobe demonstrated the new Res-Up AI technology at the recent MAX conference, which can significantly improve the image quality of GIF animations and low-resolution videos.

The image source AdobeRes-Up AI technology magnifies the image by diffusing the model to increase the clarity and detail of the image. Adobe shows a clip from the 1947 Red House movie with a resolution increased from 480x360 pixels to 1280 x 960pixels.

Adobe's Res-Up AI technology eliminates most of the blur through algorithms and even adds hair details to make the motion picture clearer. CTOnews.com Note: this image looks a bit unnatural, which is typical of many images and videos obtained through artificial intelligence.

Another demonstration example is the baby elephant. Res-Up AI technology adds details such as the texture of the baby elephant through the algorithm to make it look more clear and natural.

Adobe is not ready to publicly use Res-Up technology, but it is possible to integrate it into Adobe Premiere Pro or Express programs in the future.
