Recall that Microsoft launched Windows 10 in 2015 and promised to provide users with free upgrade to Windows 10 within a year, which ended on July 29, 2016. In fact, even after the offer is over, users can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free, but Microsoft has not made it public. Even after the release of Windows 11, the free upgrade channel is still open to anyone with compatible hardware.
