Director Zach Schneider wants to participate in the production of a film called Rick and Morty.

CTOnews.com, October 13 (Xinhua)-- sci-fi blockbuster Rick and Morty is about to usher in its seventh season, and a movie version of the animation is expected, according to co-creator Dan Harmon.

Dan Harmon recently told the Hollywood Reporter that well-known director Zack Snyder wants to participate in the production of a film called Rick and Morty. Schneider says he doesn't need to be a director, but he says he can use his "Schneider style" to help achieve this goal.

Zack Schneider, who directed films such as Watchman, Justice League and Batman v Superman, has publicly expressed his love for Rick and Morty before.

However, the Rick and Morty film does not have a script or even an outline, but Dan Harmon said he had met with Warner Bros. executives and left with confidence, noting that "it felt like it might be time for the ball to roll."

As for the idea of the movie, Dan Harmon thinks the film is like a long episode of the show. " My idea is to just take a Rick and Morty adventure and spend a lot of extra money to lengthen it to 90 minutes, "he said." It's not an attempt to win its distinctive status through a typical dramatic tone shift or something like that, but to make it a great episode of Rick and Morty. "

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the seventh season of "Rick and Morty" will premiere at 23:00 EDT (11:00 Oct. 16, Beijing time), the first time the animation has changed the voice of the leading actor. It remains to be seen whether the new season can continue its ultra-high reputation.
