CTOnews.com, October 13, according to Chrome Unboxed, Google launched the new Pixel Buds PWA (progressive network application), users can control a variety of functions of Pixel Buds, including call detection, ANC, touch control, equalizer, multi-point audio, battery power and so on.

CTOnews.com noted that Pixel Buds PWA currently does not support functions such as headset seal check, audio switch control and spatial audio, and users can use Pixel Buds PWA alone to pair and set headphones without the need for a mobile phone.

Source Chrome Unboxed Google confirmed in a support document that Pixel Buds Web Companion applications for Pixel Buds Pro only support Chromebook (Chrome operating system v117.0.5931.0 or later).

The application redirects users to mypixelbuds.google.com, and when accessed using an unsupported platform (including Windows, macOS, or iPhone), the site says: "currently, only the Chrome operating system fully supports Pixel Buds. Learn more about the operating systems and devices we plan to support in the future."

Foreign media XDA pointed out that due to unknown errors, the application may not be able to install directly from the Google Play store. Users can manually access their URL and then click the three-point menu in the upper-right corner to install the application. There is no word yet on when (or whether) Pixel Buds PWA will log on to other platforms.
