CTOnews.com October 14 news, news source uzzi38 recently posted on Anandtech forum, shared a slide about Intel's next generation Arrow Lake-S CPU information.

Intel Arrow Lake-S is the next generation desktop CPU platform that will use the new LGA-1851 socket and is expected to be available in the second half of 2024.

Intel Arrow Lake-S is expected to improve single-threaded workloads by 5% and multi-threaded workloads by 15% compared to Raptor Lake Refresh.

The next-generation desktop and mobile devices feature a new microarchitecture, with a performance core called Lion Cove and an efficiency core called Skymont, and these new series will also feature Intel 20A process nodes and an Alchemist-based Xe-LPG architecture.

While the CPU architecture may not deliver significant performance gains, the GPU is expected to be at least twice as fast as the Xe-LP architecture used in Alder / Raptor Lake CPUs.

The original Arrow Lake-S series is expected to have a core configuration similar to Raptor Lake, with eight P cores and 16 E cores. Recently, Intel plans to launch Refresh later, which will double the number of E cores.
