CTOnews.com, October 17 (Xinhua) developer Kamila Wojciechowska tweeted this summer that Google Pixel 8 series hardware will support wired screen casting. A few weeks ago, another developer, Mishaal Rahman, proposed a new method to implement screen casting by enabling DisplayPort Alt mode. Now Freak07, a member of the XDA developers Forum, has developed a Magisk module and demonstrated the feasibility of the solution.

Google's last phone that can be launched via USB cables dates back to the release of the Nexus 5 in 2013, which Google no longer offered a decade later.
