CTOnews.com, October 24, Intel said that Core i9-14900K can achieve a significant increase in FPS in "Rainbow 6: siege" and "Metro: leaving" after the launch of Intel APO.

After testing, Intel 14-generation Core i7-14700K and i9-14900K CPU can reflect this result. Reddit user "LightMoisture" found that it could increase the "Rainbow 6: siege" FPS from 659 to 867, an increase of 31%, while the "Metro: leaving" FPS also increased from 273 to 339, an increase of 24%.

Intel vice president Roger Chandler (Roger Chandler) said in an interview with TweakTown that APO represents the next step in Thread Director technology, which can provide special optimization for each individual application.

To put it simply, when you add a particular game to the APO list, it automatically adjusts the thread scheduling strategy to provide gamers with a higher frame rate.

It is worth noting that Intel also admits that not all games can be promoted through APO. However, Intel is considering extending APO support to other software in the future, which explains why Intel did not name it "game optimizer".
