CTOnews.com, October 30, Google Fiber put forward the GFiber Labs plan last month and now announced its first GFiber Labs project: to provide 20 Gig with Wi-Fi 7 (20000 broadband + Wi-Fi 7) experience to some customers by the end of the year.

According to reports, Google already has thousands of 5 Gig and 8 Gig customers, and some customers are already experiencing 20 Gig, such as friends from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and Utah County United Road.

As the first GFiber Labs project, 20 Gig with Wi-Fi 7 will bring together Google's most advanced technology and will be one of the first operators to deploy Nokia 25G PON technology, making it possible to surpass 10 Gigabit bottlenecks.

Google says Nokia's 25G PON can efficiently provide up to 10 times the speed without making any changes to existing fiber optics on the ground.

In addition, Google will provide services through customized Wi-Fi 7 routers (the Wi-Fi 7 standard has not been completely frozen), and 20 Gig customers will be able to experience a true 20000 speed.

Of course, considering the advanced nature of this service, it is believed that the price will also be ridiculously high. For reference, Google currently offers 8 Gig broadband for $150 a month in parts of West des Moines (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1100 yuan) and 5 Gig broadband services for $125 (currently about 916 yuan) in the city, Kansas City and Salt Lake City.
