Tesla China has completed 1800 + super charging stations: 100% coverage of provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and opened charging pilot stations in Shanghai to some non-Tesla brands.
According to CTOnews.com news on November 5, Tesla officially announced that Tesla's supercharging station has reached 100% coverage in Chinese mainland provincial capitals and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
Tesla said that in 2014, the first Tesla supercharging station in Chinese mainland region was established. As of November 1, 2023, Tesla has been completed on Chinese mainland:
1800 + super charging stations
11000 + super charging piles
700 + destination charging stations
2000 + destination charging piles
It covers the provincial capitals and municipalities of Chinese mainland, including Mount Everest and Mohe.
In addition, for some non-Tesla brands to open new energy vehicle pilot charging stations, energy storage super factory project located in Shanghai Lingang.
CTOnews.com note, Tesla officially announced on April 25 this year that charging stations will be officially opened to some non-Tesla brand new energy vehicles in Chinese mainland area, further promoting the implementation of the "charging network opening pilot project". Among the pilot charging stations, there are 10 super charging stations and 120 destination charging stations for 37 non-Tesla models.
