China Automobile Association: China's vehicle imports fell 7.2% month-on-month in September, down 11.2% from a year earlier.

CTOnews.com, Nov. 6, according to the data of the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in September 2023, China's automobile imports dropped slightly month-on-month, with a rapid decline.

In September 2023, vehicle imports fell 7.2% month-on-month, 11.2% year-on-year, and vehicle imports dropped 8.1% month-on-month and 8.2% year-on-year.

From January to September 2023, vehicle imports fell 17% from a year earlier; vehicle imports fell 18.9% from a year earlier.

The above three categories of automobiles account for 91.5% of the total automobile imports.
