ASRock releases AGESA 1.1.0.0 firmware for X670 motherboard, which supports Sharon 7000G processor
CTOnews.com November 7 news, according to Videocardz news, ASRock took the lead in launching AGESA 1.1.0.0 firmware for its X670 motherboard to further support the unreleased Ruilong 7000G desktop APU.
As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the previously released version 1.0.8.0 of AMD has begun to support the Ruilong 7000G desktop APU. According to Wccftech, version 1.1.0.0 may be the optimized version that fully supports this series of processors.
AMD has not launched the desktop side of R7 6800H before. At present, the strongest desktop APU of AMD is R7 5700G, and its kernel is Vega8, which lags far behind the latest Radeon 780m. Ruilong 7000G series desktop processor should be the desktop portable version of R7 7840HS and R5 7640HS of mobile platform, keep the same specification, unlock the power consumption to 65W TDP, and the kernel performance is expected to be higher.
