CTOnews.com Nov 8, Apple today pushed watchOS 10.1.1 update (build number: 21S71) to Apple Watch users, 28 days after the last release, this update brings Double Tap and NameDrop support.

WatchOS 10.1.1 can be updated by running the Apple Watch application "General" > "Software updates" on iOS 17 or later iPhone. It is worth mentioning that the Apple Watch requires at least 50% of the battery and needs to be placed on the charger before it can be updated.

It should be noted that due to the cache configuration problem of Apple node servers in various regions, the upgrade and update time may be slightly delayed in some places, usually within half an hour, not too long.

According to Apple's release notes, today's update mainly addresses the problem that caused some Apple Watch models to consume power too quickly.

This update provides important bug fixes and addresses issues that can cause the battery to drain faster.
