Cyber cat game "Stray" announced the launch of Apple Mac platform on December 5: based on MetalFX technology, support for M3 chip ray tracing
CTOnews.com, November 8 (Xinhua)-- Stray is no stranger to cyber cats, which sparked a wave of popularity last year and won the best independent game in TGA 2022.
Today's game publisher Annapurna Interactive announced that "Stray" will be available on Apple's macOS platform App Store and Steam store on December 5 (players who have bought Windows games on Steam are expected to get the macOS version directly). It only supports Apple chip devices, not Intel devices.
Annapurna Interactive said that the macOS version of "Stray" will be based on MetalFX technology, with additional support for the M3 processor's "hardware accelerated RayTracing" and "hardware accelerated mesh shading" functions to improve the image quality of the game on related platforms, but it is not clear whether this work will be launched on the iPhone 15 Pro / M1 chip iPad platform in the future.
Stray will use Apple chips to provide a smooth and immersive gaming experience for the entire Mac lineup.
In addition, no official pricing has been announced for the game-related version, but it costs $29.99 on other platforms (CTOnews.com Note: currently about RMB 218).
