SpaceX completed its 80th launch this year, sending more than 1000 tons of payload into orbit
CTOnews.com, November 8, Beijing time at noon today, SpaceX successfully launched 23 second-generation "Star chain mini" networking satellites from Jiajiao using the 11-hand Falcon 9 carrier rocket (B1073.11). The launch is the 80th launch of SpaceX this year and will put more than 1000 tons of payload into orbit.

The 23 chain satellites separated from the rocket's superiors and entered low-Earth orbit within about 65 minutes after launch.
According to Jonathan McDowell, an astrophysicist and satellite tracker, there are currently more than 5000 chain satellites in orbit.
