The SAG-AFTRA announced that the strike would officially end at 12:01 local time on Thursday, and the union's negotiating committee voted unanimously to approve the deal.

Studios cannot force writers to use generative AI software unless they want to, and they must disclose whether the material given to the writers contains any content generated by AI. Finally, it is explicitly forbidden to "use the writer's material to train AI".
