Ningde Times and LG New Energy both had 28.1% of the global battery market outside China in September, while Japan's Panasonic Holdings ranked third with 14.7%, according to SNE.

In addition, SK On ranked fourth with a market share of 10.7 per cent, Samsung SDI ranked fifth with 9.5 per cent, and BYD ranked sixth with 1.8 per cent market share.

According to the data, the market share of South Korea's three major energy companies is 48.3%, down 5.8 percentage points from the same period last year, while some Chinese companies, including the Ningde era, are rapidly expanding their global market share. Chinese companies are also gradually expanding their influence in the Korean market.

Overall (including the Chinese market), Ningde era is still the world's largest battery manufacturer, with a market share of 36.8%, while BYD ranks second, with a market share of 15.8% and LG New Energy ranks third with 14.3%.
