CTOnews.com, Nov. 9 (Xinhua)-- Rockstar Games confirmed on Twitter last night that it plans to release its first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 early next month, which quickly exploded on social media and set a record for the most liked game-related tweets on Twitter.

As of CTOnews.com 's release, the tweet has been viewed 130 million times and has received more than 1.39 million likes, 470,000 retweets and 51000 comments.

The well-known game news account Okami Games pointed out that this tweet has become the most liked game-related tweet in history, considering that it does not even contain any pictures or videos and is the fourth in a series of Rockstar Games tweets about its 25th anniversary.

The official trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 is likely to be the most watched trailer in Rockstar Games's history. The trailer for Grand Theft Auto 5 has garnered 90 million views on YouTube since its release in 2011, while the trailer for the company's most recent work, Red Dead Redemption 2, has been viewed more than 22 million times on YouTube.

Grand Theft Auto 5 (Grand Theft Auto 5) and Grand Theft Auto: online (GTA Online) celebrate their 10th anniversary in September, and the game has had a large loyal audience since its release and has maintained a high level of activity. In the past few years, there have been a lot of rumors about Grand Theft Auto 6, such as the story of the game taking place on Vice City and the setting of a male and female protagonist, but these have not been officially confirmed.

When can we see the trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6? Since Rockstar Games's 25th anniversary is on December 10, the company is likely to release a much-anticipated trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 on its anniversary.
