Thank you, Mr. Air, a netizen of CTOnews.com, for your clue delivery! CTOnews.com, Nov. 11 (Reuters)-Honda decided to raise wages for production workers at American factories by 11% from January after the United Auto Workers Union (UAW) reached a new agreement with the big three Detroit automakers.

Honda also said it would reduce the time it takes for factory workers to reach the maximum wage from six to three years, a key part of UAW's negotiations with the Big three.

CTOnews.com noted that US President Joe Biden sent an X message congratulating Honda on its decision to raise wages, thanks to the union, "the union auto workers won the victory."

We have just learned that from the beginning of the new year, Honda workers across the United States will receive an 11% pay rise, which is well deserved. The union auto workers won the victory. When I say that agreements like UAW's historic agreement will change the rules of the game for every worker in the United States, I mean it. I want all auto workers to get this type of contract.

UAW agreed with Biden that "it's time for Honda workers to stand up and fight for themselves", urging Honda workers to "sign up for our movement and join our union."
