The launch of the Leo satellite marks a "critical moment" for Hon Hai to enter a new field, with the goal of proving that it has satellite technology to meet the growing demand for space communications, the report said.

According to previous CTOnews.com reports, on November 6, Foxconn officially announced the signing of a launch service agreement with Exolaunch, aimed at providing mission management, orbital hardware deployment and related services for Hon Hai's first Leo satellites.
