CTOnews.com, Nov. 14, Ji Bang Consulting said in a recent blog post that 90% of the parts used in Huawei's new smartphones are localized, and only a small number of components such as DRAM use SK Hynix products.

Jibang Consulting shared the situation of Huawei's existing smartphone suppliers, but did not specify how to calculate the 90% figure.

Jibang Consulting said in the report that Huawei had previously relied heavily on foreign manufacturers, including radio frequency, baseband, memory and sensor chips, and that many parts were purchased from the international market.

After a restrictive strategy in the US, Huawei has been expanding its domestic supply chain for nearly three years, and the agency believes that the return of Huawei is expected to promote the growth of the entire supply chain. The continuous trajectory shows that the proportion of domestic production of equipment in China will continue to increase in the future.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the Nikkei News partnered with market research company Fomalhaut Techno Solutions to dismantle Huawei's Mate 60 Pro phone, saying that the value of Chinese-made parts in the Mate 60 Pro accounted for 47%, 18 percentage points higher than the Mate 40 Pro at the same price three years ago.
