Amazon announced that Comixology, an e-book application, was officially closed on December 4, requiring users to switch to the Kindle platform.

CTOnews.com, Nov. 16 (Xinhua)-- Comixology is an e-book app used to read Maiman. Amazon shut down the web version of Comixology in early 2022.

Amazon, ▲ Comixology app, Amazon today began notifying Comixology users that Amazon will officially close the app on December 4, requiring users to move to Amazon Kindle platform.

Amazon claims that all comics, comics and graphic novels that users buy or borrow on Comixology will exist exclusively in the Kindle app after December 4.

CTOnews.com noted that while Amazon says content such as reading progress will also be synchronized, users will need to re-download relevant books on Kindle apps or devices. According to officials, users can enable the "view comics only" filter so that "former Comixology users who are not interested in other features of the Kindle platform" can have a similar experience to previous Comixology.
